I was upgrading my speakers, taking the door panels off, removed driver side harness (connected to windows, lock, etc) and the wrong end came off, leaving me with a mess of wires and no idea which one goes where. I went to tighten and realign this door handle. Like any good project, I opened it up and immediately things started falling apart, including the metal plate attaching the top 2 and bottom two screws to the door and brass plate. Once I realized I screwed up, I quickly reassembled as best I could since I couldn’t keep working on it. I have a bit of an awkward setup with my bedroom door, where it can’t quite open all the way because of the closet wall and pocket door adjacent to it. This was totally an oversight by us on our recent renovation, and while not a total failure, I’m trying to think of solutions that don’t involve moving walls or doors. Left rear door exterior handle has come disconnected from the latch mechanism. I can see the linkage and where it connects but I can't tell what's broken or how exactly it's suppose to go together. Does anyone have access to a picture or diagram that shows what's what back there so I can get it put back together?
